Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thuppaki directed by AR Murugadoss seems to face some problems. First the SA Chandrasekar father of VIjay who was to produce the movie finally walked out from the project due to heavy budget. Then Kalaipuli S Thanu stepped forward to produce the movie.


But AR Murugadoss suddenly demanded for huge amount of salary for him to be paid. Murugadoss says Vijay one of the top stars of Tamil Cinema is acting in Thuppaki, so hardwork will be more and i want to be paid well.

Vijay’s Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru has turned out to be one of the most talked projects in Kollywood. Ever since the ads were published in the newspaper there is lot of buzz around the film and Ilayathalapathy fans are eager to know about the details of the film.


The first look posters revealed some tidbits of the film and the role Vijay is essaying. Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru is a slick action packed entertainer and by seeing the tagline we can expect that the film shoot might take place in New York. But latest sources reveal that the film will be canned in all corners of the globe.

Gautham Menon is doing four projects at a time - 'Neethane En Ponvasantham', which he is simultaneously making in three languages (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi), and the Hindi remake of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya', titled 'Ek Dhivana Dha'.


After completing these films, he will move on to 'Yohan Adhyayam Ondru', his first venture with Vijay. "Some rumour mills have it that Gautham Menon is toying with the idea of coming out with a movie every two years in this series, like Yohan Adhyayam Irandu and Yohan Adhyayam Moondru but the director has remained tight-lipped about these.

Vijay and Director AR Murugadoss finally freezed their title on next project, earlier it was called as Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli, has been titled as Thupaki after considering quite a few catchy titles. The upcoming movie is reportedly taking off on November 25 at the Thiruchendur Murugan temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga.


Thupaki is being made with the budget of Rs 65 crore, which is the biggest ever budget film of Vijay career. AR Murugadoss has roped in Santosh Sivan and Harris Jayaran for the cinematography and the music direction departments.
