Vijay and Director AR Murugadoss finally freezed their title on next project, earlier it was called as Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli, has been titled as Thupaki after considering quite a few catchy titles. The upcoming movie is reportedly taking off on November 25 at the Thiruchendur Murugan temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga.


Thupaki is being made with the budget of Rs 65 crore, which is the biggest ever budget film of Vijay career. AR Murugadoss has roped in Santosh Sivan and Harris Jayaran for the cinematography and the music direction departments.


Thupaki produced by Vijay’s father AS Chandrasekhar features Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. The movie tells the story of a man’s journey to Mumbai centred around the streets of the commercial capital. He will be seen in the role of a don in the forthcoming Tamil movie.
