Jai who was last seen in a innocent role from Engeyum Eppothum is now currently working with Simbu for Vettaimannan. After Simbu's Vettaimannan, Jai will start his solo project titled 'Vaalu'. The title itself says that the film will be of comedy genre.


But Jai intervenes and says, Vaalu will have humour along with romance and action too. It will be a lively film with all masala elements added. Also they are in talk with a popular actress it seems and the project will be started once Jai completes his portions for Simbu's Vettaimannan.

We have heard a lot about the change of heroines in a film. Even recently there were instant changes in the female cast in Ajith’s Billa 2. And we came to know the change of the heroine for Bharathiraja’s Annakkodiyum Kodiveeranum. But there is a news that the hero in Vallinam, Nakul is to be replaced with Jai.


The film comes from the grand banner Aascar Movies by Ravichandran. The film’s first schedule began some time ago and was suspended as Ravichandran concentrated on the release of Vijay starrer Velayutham. Now after sensing the scope of Jai with his success in Engyeum Eppothum, Ravichandran seems to have changed his mind.
