Nayanthara recently posted comments against the ban on Dam 999 movie in Tamilnadu on the web The news spread so fast that it reached some government officials. When contacted Nayanthara she got surprised and said 'i was not involved with any microblogging or social networking sites so far, and it gives me a shock to see such things happening' she states.


Nayanthara whose Sri Rama Rajyam was touted to be her last film in the cine industry took a break after it. That's when in a leading microblogging site someone who impersonated to be her, started staying active like connecting with fans through online.


Even recently the actress announced through media that she is not involved in any internet chatting stuffs. But this issue made her to stir up, Nayanthara said 'i think it's time to act against these kind of acitivities and i am going to file a complaint with the cybercrime to take neccessary actions'.
